Although we don’t really care about receiving gifts for Mother’s Day, we thought it would be fun to round up a list of some of our favorite times that we might ask for or gift to someone else!
Mother’s Day Gift Ideas for Yourself or Your Favorite Mom
Colleen Rothschild Radiant Cleansing Balm :: We love this stuff! Both of us use it every night before bed. It’s perfect for washing off makeup gently, yet thoroughly. This is a repeat purchase for us. (There are often promo codes for this as well!)
Brumate Hopsulator 3-in-1 Can Cooler :: this is a more versatile option, as it can act us a tumbler for cocktails, and an insulated can cooler for 16-oz beverages and an adaptor for 12-oz cans. There is a separate one for slim cans also, but I just stuck a slim can inside this and it worked fine.
Collapsible Tote Bag :: this tote bag we’ve had for a while now and it goes lots of places with us. It is especially great for a weekend away because once you unload it, it will collapse down and save room.
Sand Cloud Beach Towels :: These towels are a little pricey and a bit of an investment piece but they are worth the money! They hold up for years, wash easily, and pack nicely. The sand falls off these well. I love these for traveling because they take up a lot less room than most towels. They’re also great for a cooler boat ride because they feel like a light blanket. 10/10 recommend.
Sydney Hale Candles :: We came across these candles from our weekend in Door County, WI when we walked into the Sister Golden Shop in Fish Creek. The Oaked Bitter Orange was burning and we had to have it. We’ve even ordered a second candle for both of us because we love it so much! This scent is perfect for spring/summer.
Air Pods Pro :: Yes, this is a pricier gift, but if you’re looking to treat yourself to something, give these a try. Sara had them first and then Katie bought them. They are so good and worth the money. We were both a little hesitant at first but now are totally sold!
Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP Board) :: Katie’s sister-in-law has two of these ones and they are a little more budget friendly than some others, but they were great. Once they were inflated, you couldn’t even tell it was an inflatable board. We got so much use out of them last summer during a week away to a lake house!
Hiking Sneakers :: always love the practical gifts, and these hiking sneakers are great for light hikes with the family. These exact ones are waterproof, which are great for days with wet grass and puddles and they don’t really look like traditional hiking shoes! Katie has an older style that has held up great for years, and this current style is what Sara got last summer and has been very happy with.
Dash Air Fryer :: another practical gift! This is a budget-friendly option that looks cute on the counter. This is a frequently used appliance in Sara’s house, making everything from chicken nuggets to 5-minute donuts. We’ve loved the appliances by Dash (we also have the Deluxe Everyday Griddle and the Mini Waffle Maker) and they’ve held up well, despite frequent use!
Of course there are a million other ideas and we’d love to hear yours! For us, we’d love a slow morning with coffee in pajamas, a solo trip to wander the aisles at Target, and spend the day outside with the family (and Sara here, but I’d love a nap too.) Happy Mother’s Day to all the special women in our lives!
