Do you buy many gifts for other women? We don’t…but we do enjoy getting ideas from other blogs’ gift guides for ourselves! 🙂
Add these items to your own Christmas list. Or treat yourself with some of that holiday bonus money!

- Hiking Boots $89
Katie got a pair of the Forsake hiking boots for her birthday and they’re really cute and comfortable. The other pair we’re always seeing pop up with great reviews are these by Columbia. Both pairs are waterproof, come in several colors, and are under $100.
- Vuori Performance Hoodie $90
This hoodie is a splurge, but if you’re anything like us, you’re always looking for THE perfect hoodie. This one meets all our needs! It’s buttery soft and stretchy, great quality zipper, fitted in the perfect way, and is lightweight for a summer hike but also warm under a coat in the winter. We both wear a size Medium. (look for coupons!)
- Vuori Performance Jogger $67
The same cozy soft material as the hoodie above, these joggers are amazing. They hit just above the ankle and look cute with sandals or sneakers. Again, a splurge but they’re really great year-round and have washed up well over the last year of wearing them multiple times a week 🙂 We each wear a size Small.
- Knit Hat from Woolly Bear Knits
We “met” Emily through Instagram and fell in love with the hats she sent us last winter. She knits them all from her home in Minnesota and they’re such a great gift to give, especially if you love to shop local, small businesses like us! Her hats come in many styles and colors – see ours below!
Emily kindly provided us with a coupon code to receive 10% off your order, valid through December 31 :: GATHERINGTWIGS
- Spa Treatment from ANEU Med Spa
We are firm believers in the “treat yourself” mantra. We’ve been going to ANEU Med Spa for several years for all of our skincare needs. The team is professional and knowledgeable, yet it’s a fun and happy place to be! Interested in trying a new service for the first time? Message us and we’ll get you a referral discount!
- Sydney Hale Candle $35
We discovered these candles when we walked into a shop in Door County, Sister Golden, and had to ask why the store smelled so good! It was this candle, Oaked Bitter Orange, that was burning and it since became our favorite candle EVER. We’ve also ordered the fragrance sampler and some great options are the Eucalyptus & Sage, Clementine & Clove, Cypress & Cassis.
- Perfume $24-76
This perfume sold at Anthropologie quickly became a favorite after sampling all the scents in store. It’s a light and pretty scent, and the bottle lasts forever. Start with the smaller 0.5oz bottle here, otherwise the larger 1.7oz bottle is linked here.
- Cotton Cloud Jersey Blanket $120-150
If you only buy one blanket for the rest of your life, it should be this one. Katie bought this last summer when she was looking for a lightweight but still cozy blanket for her bed on the warm nights. Sara bought it this fall as an extra cozy layer on the cool nights, and we’re both obsessed. It’s made from a soft cotton jersey material with decorative stitching (although the stitching is actually hidden, so it’s not easily snagged from pet nails!). It’s basically like sleeping in your oldest, softest hoodie!
- Anthropologie Candle $32
We love our candle listed in #6 year-round, but these candles from Anthropologie are our favorite holiday candles! The Balsam & Cedarwood is scent is SO good and Christmas-y but has some fruity notes too. It’s the perfect Christmas candle, in our opinion!
